Lemang Tapai is traditional food from Bengkulu, that usually the people ate lemang and tapai at the same time. Lemang is beras ketan cooked in a young bamboo, and it ingredients are ketan putih, santan kelapa, daun pandan and a litle bit salt. Whereas, Tapai is beras ketan hitam that Fermentas by ragi ( fermetation agent ) and it will be create the alcohol by the process offermentation.
The step are to make “Lemang Tapai” : First, prepare ketan putih, santan kelapa, daun pandan and enough salt. And than wash beras ketan hitam and pour to a young bamboo that coated by banana leaf. Second, burn it until precisel on fire.
I hope, you eat lemang with tapai at the same time in order to oke.
